Dale was always a very nice unassuming person. He had a very sweet manner. I remember him well. I am sorry to hear he passed away so young. How sad for his loved ones.
Dale was one of my best friends during high school. We hung-out together, played music together, and enjoyed each other's company, even double dated on occasion. I was totally shocked when my Dad called me when I was at NCSU and told me he had driven into a tree near our house. Sandy Spaugh (Forkner) was with me there and helped me deal with his death. I remember feeling so bad for his parents, they didn't take it well. I hope they remember as we do his fun loving attitude, his smile, his living for the moment, his love of music, and the positive affect he had on his many friends and classmates. Dale enjoyed life each minute and was indeed a good friend.
I remember Dale as an energetic, enthusiastic young man, a pleasure to be around and with a kind word for all those around him. We played music together a number of times, and he was a drummer that lost himself in the music and found himself in life.
You are remembered my friend, by those who knew you in our hearts.
Dale you were a blast to know - fun, alive and so cute! I remember how you loved music and loved to flirt. Some say the brightest flames burn out the fastest, but I believe the length of one's life on this planet is not the measure of a man - it's what kind of person he is. Dale you were a gem.

Dale was my cousin (my maternal grandmother was a Flynn...good Irish name). We shared a passion for music and I still miss him.Terrible to die so young.

Dale and I went back aways. I lived north of where he had his accident, and everytime I drive there I think of Dale. He was a nice guy.Gary Wayne Clark
