Mark was one of the Baux Mountain Road crowd, and as such had to grow up tough just to survive. Yes, he was full of mischief, to say the least. But he was a tough competitive athlete and my quarterback and team mate for quite a few years. For those of you that don't remember, he was in a very bad car accident, I think in the 9th grade, and almost left this world then. I agree with Patty - he wasn't always the nicest guy around, but he was a hoot. My wife actually knew him from when he used to cut hair for a living in Kernersville. My last memories of Mark were at the 20-year reunion. He was wide open that night.
