I remember some fast-action scrambles on the basketball court with Kathy. She was short, but boy could she move, and was usually flashing a big smile. See ya next time around!

Kathy was a good friend in school that I lost touch with when we moved and I changed high schools. I was wondering if anyone knew how she died. I was saddened when I seen this. She was a wonderful person.

Kathy was one of my best friends. Unfortunately, she had some serious health issues. She eventually lost her hearing completely. She was found unresponsive in her apartment where she lived alone. The good news is that someday I will see Kathy again.

I went to Lees-McRae with Kathy and was in close contact with her up until a couple of years before her death.  Kathy suffered from osteomyelitis and was in pain much of the time.  She was an inspiration to so many people and kept a smile on her face through many hardships.  I miss her dearly and will always cherish the friendship we shared.
